Linh Phuoc pagoda

Linh Phuoc pagoda in Dalat was built in 1990 by sthavira Thich Tam Vi and lots of contribution from Buddhist believers. The uniqueness of Linh Phuoc pagoda in Dalat came from the recycling materials mainly bottles and china. You will see dragon statue with 49m long cover around Buddha statue. The dragon scales are made from 12,000 pieces of beer bottles. Most of the materials for all the structures are from hundred tons of china from Hanoi, Saigon and Binhduong. Additionally, we can’t miss the amazing peaceful statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, as known as the Goddess of Mercy. Another characteristic of Linh Phuoc pagoda in Dalat is its 18 levels of hell, you can think about it as haunted house but it has a special meaning behind it. With 300m long, 18 levels of hell will lead you through every karma of what you did in life and you have to pay off in hell.
