Buu Long pagoda

Buu Long pagoda in Saigon, as known as To Dinh Buu Long, is a former place for pure and spiritual cultivation. It is located at 81, Nguyen Xien street, Long Binh  Ward, District 9, Saigon on an 27 acres land. Buu Long pagoda in Saigon was built in 1942 with a signature structure of most Buddhist temples in Southeast Asia like Thailand, India and a touch of Nguyen dynasty gave it a very unique beauty. When you walk in to the temple, you will notice the tranquil pond of water, it will give you such a nice feeling, very relaxing or you can also meditate to absorb the fresh air in this place.  In addition, you will be able to see the lying Buddha statue, weighted over 50 tons, surrounding by 10 granite light poles with Indian sculpture. There are also many beautiful relic located on the highest floor and you will have the amazing view over the entire land. If you feel like you need a little energy after a long tour, you can visit the food court with amazing vegetarian dishes with affordable price. It is about an hour drive from city center, there is a parking for visiting with a fee of 10,000 vnd for a motorbike. Keep in mind that the parking will close at 6pm. This place is also free open for everyone from morning to 11am and reopen at 2pm.
